For the 2004 project, artists were invited to carve an individual woodblock that, placed together, created a large collaborative panel. Coordinator Basil Hall said, "We didn't go in with the idea of repeating last year's process, but wanted to create a large work made up of individual carved woodblocks, the bonus being that we can produce proofs for approval on site and also we can later exhibit the blocks themselves." 2004 panel
