yidaki, volume II
This album features yidaki patterns for song items form three manikay
series that are owned and passed from father to child
with the Galpu clan. For each song item presented, the pattern is
initially vocalized and then played with yidaki. This demonstrates
the complex articulation and breathing techniques through which yidaki
patterns are created and taught to others. Narration in both Yolngu-Matha
and English is included for the benefit of listeners.
