Donations

The Yothu Yindi Foundation is a registered charity. Donations will assist in developing commercial initiatives to increase economic activity and remove welfare dependency; preserving cultural knowledge; presenting the annual Garma Festival of Traditional Culture; educating individuals and communities including the development of the Garma Cultural Studies Institute; and developing multimedia and e-commerce.

You can donate a different amount to those listed below. For example, you can donate $2000 by changing the '1' to '2' next to the $1000 box. Or you can 'buy' more than one 'product'. To donate $700 you 'buy' one $500 donation and two $100 donations. (This donation page was built with online shop software.)

If you prefer, you can download a donation form (1p PDF) and fax or post it to us with your cheque, money order or credit card details.

Donations of AU$2 and more are tax deductible under Item 4.1.1 of subsection 30-45 (1) of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997. A receipt for your donation will be sent to the address provided and online donations will appear on your statement under the name Yothu Yindi Foundation. From our research we believe no GST is payable or paid on this donation. See your accountant or contact the Australian Tax Office for confirmation.
