THE GARMA SHOP
The Yothu Yindi Foundation (YYF) through the Garma Festival and other programs has three primary aims:
- create economic opportunities for Yolngu through education, training, employment and enterprise development
- nurture and maintain traditional cultural practices
- share knowledge and culture, thereby fostering greater understanding between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians
The YYF is a not-for-profit Aboriginal charitable organisation with full tax exemption and gift deductibility status.
All revenue from the Garma Shop and donations goes to the operation of the YYF's projects and programs.
